  MSDF is a foundation with a global commitment of more than $23 million to help evolve scalable solutions that are delivering basic social services and access to a range of financial services. MSDF is supporting micro Home Solutions for an Action Research Project aimed at home-improvements for low-income households in Delhi. The report will be available on our website in August 2011.

  mHS was one among five social enterprises selected to work with Yale's Global Social Entrepreneurship course in the Fall of 2010. A team of MBAs worked closely with mHS throughout the semester to develop a set of recommendations and advise on mHS strategy.
• Housing SEWA Trust (MHT)

  Mahila Housing SEWA Trust (MHT) was established by Self Employed Women Association (SEWA) in 1994 with the objective of improving the housing and infrastructure conditions of poor women in the informal sector. SEWA and mHS are working together on a joint study on resettlement communities in Delhi.
• Unified Traffic and Transportation Infrastructure (Planning & Engineering) Center (UTTIPEC)

  UTTIPEC is a center within the Delhi Development Authority with a view to enhance mobility, reduce congestion and to promote traffic safety by adopting standard transport planning practices. mHS is a task force member at UTTIPEC and an overall resource partner on housing and urbanization. 
• Ford Foundation

  mHS received travel support to undertake field work and document the link between housing and livelihoods, and the enabling role that microfinance can play in this process.
• BASIX

  One of India’s largest microfinance lenders, BASIX has reached 1 million borrowers since its establishment. We are executing a home-improvement pilot project in partnership with BASIX in Mangolpuri in North Delhi. For details, please see “Design Home Solutions” under the Project section.
• DUE NORTH
  DueNorth is a for profit, social enterprise, involved in the activity of mobilizing and building organizational and technical capacity of rural communities to leverage their natural and other resources for promotion of tourism as a sustainable livelihood activity.
• Indo Global Social Service Society

  IGSSS is a charitable organization that works with socially disadvantaged communities. In collaboration with IGSSS, mHS has set up a homeless shelter near the Inter-State Bus Terminal in Delhi. For more details, please see the projects section:
• Dr A.V. Baliga Trust
  A community NGO that has been working in the fields of vocational education, child health, nutrition, family planning etc with resettlement communities in Delhi, the Baliga Trust plays a key role in facilitating BASIX and mHS’ access to the community and organizing workshops to introduce the idea of sustainable design.
